nutrients for brain health

Hi sharing some of my personal health journey which I still see a lot of other people going through still today. I'm interested if some of this resonates for others or constructive criticism where I may be misunderstanding some things.

I've had serious allergies since I was young.

I had a head injury when I was 5.

Recently I heard that the blood brain barrier can be damaged in head injuries.

So it might let things it shouldn't in - metals, infections etc.

I had pretty serious mold etc exposure around 2001 - 2006 when I was living in a basement apartment

Also some mental health trauma and effects from pharmaceuticals.

My meds for [edit: a serious mental health diagnosis ] affect dopamine, I believe to lower the levels. Tests I had showed my serotonin was low. It is possible that serotonin counter-balances dopamine ( serotonin -> rest and digest ) and could have also lead to nutrient deficiencies and poor digestion and absorption of nutrients. Tryptophan is a volatile nutrient needed to make vit b6 which is needed to make both serotonin and melatonin. Melatonin helps regulate sleep and wakefulness.

Oh being vegetarian I didn't eat much skin. Turns out skin is an important source of Silicon, which, along with amino acid cisteine and other things (was prob low in this too) n acetyl cisteine nac
Helps make glutathione, one of the special antioxidants that can detox difficult things ( like aluminum in the brain ) - having lots of ongoing inflammation and oxidative stress, and possibly not enough vitamin c and other antioxidants, it is possible glutathione was getting depleted fast because inflammation and not cleaning difficult stuff ...

Processed simple sugar can lead to unhealthy gut microflora overgrowth, (for me, into the brain) and healthy fats are needed to repair "oxidative stress" - a frequent byproduct of inflammation- cell wall damage - holes in cells - (as well as brain tissue).

Being vegetarian I went for awhile low on healthy fats, but also dha fatty acid that is needed for building the brain, which is high in fish oil (which I'm taking for now ) may be needed for a lot of the brain repair. ...
(you can get distilled fish oils which are lower in mercury)

If ones' body had a toxic load of heavy metals and one started excreting some/ more due to health protocols, MORE should show up in the poop, pee, hair, nails, sweat etc ... Hair can be a timeline of this...

Thanks for reading.
Bless.
